 About our Sessions

Sessions are unique and customized to each client. Included in your package price is a pre-consultation by phone or in person to plan your session, photographers time and talent before, during and after the session. Image reveal and ordering appointment with an online gallery posted after reveal appointment. Digital images from the gallery may be used for social media sharing or to self print up to size 5×7. A wide variety of print and product options are available to purchase. We only use high quality professional labs. Prior to your session and during the reveal appointment you will be able to see sample products and we will discuss which products and prints fit your style, decor, and need. While there is no required minimum purchase to meet, the average client’s investment typically runs between $600 – $1200 for general sessions, and $800 – $2500 for weddings, watch me grow, and bump to baby sessions.  *payment plans are available but no product will be ordered or delivered until final payment is made. 

Sales Tax-  The state of Texas requires photographers to charge sales tax on all session  fees, and products rendered digital and non. Sales tax is 8.25%

Gallery- .  Your online gallery will be viewable for 30 days, after 30 days the images are archived for up to 1 year  a $45 fee would apply to retrieve and reload the gallery.

 Digitals– A gallery is provided with low resolutions images for download and self printing up to size 5×7 with each session.  Full resolution digitals for printing images up to 16×20 are available for purchase, at $75 per image or (5) for $300.   If you choose to print from somewhere other then me, I will not guarantee prints. Make sure if you are printing elsewhere that you do not check the box to color correct. I offer a wide variety of high quality print products including  prints,  albums, cards, canvas, metal, wood, and many more products.

The following information is also outlined in your contract, but I want to make sure to include some of the fine print here as well.

A $100 non refundable retainer is collected at time of booking to reserve the day/time. It will be applied to the session fee the day of the session. If you cancel, do not show or are more than 15 minutes late, the retainer will not be applied or refunded.  The total session fee is due when you arrive before the session begins. For Weddings the non refundable retainer is $300.

Images are copyrighted and remain the property of the photographer at all times, even if a print release is included. Images cannot be altered, reproduced, or changed including adding filters, editing, or cropping images.  If you would like changes made to an image for example making it black and white, or cropping it different. Please contact me, I am happy to assist you. Most of the time, I will be able to make quick changes for you free of charge. Detailed re-editing, or multiple images may incur additional editing fees. Any copyright violation may result in legal action.
